It was three in the morning when Percy feel like Hepheastus was using his head like an anvil. His condition is severe not even Apollo can heal him and find out he is poisoned by an unknown foe. The Sun God told Poseidon that Percy will die if he is not turned into a merman or immortal.
In the End, the Sea God turned his demigod child into a merman and stayed at the Kingdom of the Sea.
As days passed, the Seven, Will Solace, Nico Di Angelo and Calypso found themselves in 5 year old with no memories of their past lives.

Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react.
