Hazel Davis is a senior who attends Mayview Highschool in a small town in colorado, Stelton's peak. She does not believe in love, does not want it either. Living with her aunt and trying to find what the rest of her life holds for her, she struggles to keep her past and present from colliding. Conner Morris is the captain of the basketball team and part of one of the most respected families in Stelton's Peak. He lives for the thrill of the game, and when it comes to girls at Mayview Highschool, he also enjoys the chase. He has secrets though, secrets that, if they came out could mess up everything. When Hazel and Conner's English teacher proposes a project for the senior class to write a story about a chosen partner, real or fiction, it's a huge surprise when she pairs Hazel and Conner together. They are complete opposites and both hate the idea of having to work with one another. Will they be able to tell each other's stories without getting the ending wrong?
