Kai's barely holding it together. Since five years ago, when his parents abruptly abandoned him and his sister, Nya, Kai alone has been responsible for keeping his father's blacksmithing business afloat. Still - after five years of practice, he's not any better at blacksmithing. However, when an old man visits the siblings and Kai's world is flipped on its' head, Kai quickly discovers there's much more waiting for him than poverty.
