01 has been running for weeks with Preditors closing in. There's nowhere left to go, nowhere to hide. The month following her escape she had decided on death rather than life as a fugitive but as the weeks dragged on she's decided to keep going. Running, not as an act of self-preservation but out of spite. Spite for the government that had broken and controlled so many. At least they could no longer control her.

Maxwell has been on the hunt for weeks, finally closing in on some of their most difficult escapees. He had been long awaiting an end to this chase, his talents could be much better used elsewhere. This was his final test before he could finally be promoted to Squadron leader. No expense was too great if it meant he could finally take his rightful position. But why the government squandered his talents and resources on a pathetic, powerless, girl he didn't know.
