Goodbye

I always knew that a day like this would one day come.
But I never knew that it could be this soon.
I can hear a voice calling and I cannot feel my flesh anymore.
My spirit seeks and searches for its creator.
And here here we are, looking at each other for the last time.

We have been together for as long as i can remember
Now I can look back at the past without regrets
The past were we made memorie filled with joy and love.
I cherish all the times we spent together
I am grateful to everyone who was in my life, for each served a purpose and brought lessons
Surely I have lived, loved and cried

Remember me in all your days
I wish I could stay for a little longer,
I wish we could laugh one more time,
I wish i could be there in trying times to hold your hand and assure you that with time all will be well
Its hard to let go but sometimes we have to
I can say that sometimes letting go is the only path that will be there at the end of the tunnel

My time has finally come
I can feel my heart slowly accepting my fate
I am now at my final destination
We have come a long way indeed but one of us has to go
This is indeed my time
The pain of letting go is unbearable
There is no better time than now to say
