Patrick Stump is just a guy that enjoys to blend into the background with his two best friends, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley. It's isn't until Pete Wentz wants Patrick's help does things start falling apart. Pete's old friend doesn't like the fact that he was swapped for Patrick and he wants nothing more than to destroy Patrick's and Pete's relationship, but Pete and Patrick have no intentions of letting that happen.
With the amount of time they spend together, Patrick finds himself falling in love with Pete which leads to all sorts of complications.

*SET BEFORE THE HIATUS* Patrick is the shy, dorky weird kid who doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. Pete is the music-loving, bass-slapping, popular kid who sits at the back of class writing lyrics. Emerging from an abusive household, Patrick is new to Wilmette High School. Maybe, just maybe, he'll fit in here. Pete doesn't take much notice of this new kid - he has his own friends. But when things take a turn for the worse, Patrick and Pete find themselves spending a lot more time together than anticipated...
