Evangeline never had a last name. She knew her first name and her middle name, Tori, but that was all. She only knows of one person who cares about her and that's her best friend, Kade Warren. New York City. A place where dreams come true but to her they only seem to break. Evangeline only had a family for a little while until everything fell apart and she was put into a group home. Just as she feels like giving up as the best option someone saves her from herself and provides her with something she never could have imagined becoming a reality again. Could this be her forever home? Or will it drive her to an insanity? Can anything go write for poor Evangeline?
(Takes place at the time of when Lin was still in Hamilton.)

Love Me When I'm Unlovable by Geekgirl531
27 parts Complete
Sixteen-year-old "model Christian" LeAnna Daniels is rooted in God's Word. She knows she's His Child. There's nothing she can't handle with His help. She knows every rule there is to know in the Bible. She knows exactly how to witness. Or so she thinks. Then her family takes in Rita, a wild, reckless fifteen-year-old who was orphaned and placed in foster care at the age of seven. Rita tests LeAnna in ways she never thought God would test her in. When Rita makes a terrible decision and pays the consequences, all LeAnna wants to do is scream at her, and she doesn't understand why. It's a lesson she never thought she would ever need. It's a lesson on how to love someone. Fifteen-year-old "juvenile delinquent" Rita MacKenzie is mad at the world. It's not hard to see why. A fire killed her parents when she was seven, she was separated from her siblings, and a lifetime of trauma and abuse follows her. Then she's sent to what the judge calls her last shot before shes shipped to juvie. And possibly her last chance at a family. No one wants a teenager, after all. She hates it. Strict parents and a foster sister who's constantly trying to shove religion down her throat might just be the last straw for her. But just as she begins to learn that their love- and God's love- has no strings attached, a terrible mistake has her questioning everything, especially God's love. It's a lesson Rita's been neglecting for years. It's a lesson on how to accept love, especially when you know you don't deserve it.

Evangeline Rose Jasper only knew life inside her house. The only people she knew were her parents. Being diagnosed with dependent personality disorder at a young age, Evangeline always needed to be around someone she trusted, and that was her parents. They kept her from the world, afraid of what people may think of her. Evangeline was happy with her life, unaware of what things were like on the outside. In one night, she lost everything. A fatal car accident left Evangeline with no one. Forced to move in with grandparents that want nothing to do with her, Evangeline is forced to go to public school for the first time. Kai Matsushima hates everyone. Years of isolating himself paired with a misunderstanding in middle school means no one talks to Kai at school. If anyone talked to him, he would snap at them. But, when Evangeline taps on his shoulder and asks him to move so she can get to his locker, he can't help but treat the girl with tears in her eyes before her first day has even begun, with kindness. And just like that, two people with no one have each other.
