For years, the survivors clung to hope, dreaming of the day Earth would be livable again. That day finally arrives. As they lead their people back to the surface, they find an Earth transformed-not the barren wasteland they expected, but a wild and untamed paradise. However, it's not uninhabited. Scattered across the land are powerful tribes, each with its own traditions, fiercely protective of their resources, and willing to turn hostile when provoked. With danger lurking at every corner and passion igniting between them, Kora and Xavier must navigate the complexities of rebuilding civilization, forging alliances, and keeping their people safe. But as they learn more about the tribes and uncover secrets of the past, the two leaders find themselves drawn to each other in ways they never anticipated. My Cursed Luck (K/DA x Male Reader) by WoffleStomp
40 parts Complete Mature
- (This story was made when I was still growing as a writer and a person, you have been warned.) - Y/N is an archivist, scratch that, an "information artist", and he likes to believe he's cursed, cursed with bad luck, resulting in the constant lack of optimism, depression. However, his past few years have been pretty tame as far as just going to work, going home to play games, and then taking part in game nights or jam nights with people in his townhouse. - His childhood was rough, filled with traumatic memories and situations with his family, not to mention he wasn't unique. Of all the people in Runeterra, he never had an ability. No tails, no wings, no spells to be casted, he was just... powerless, or so he thought. - All of it may have changed when a got a birthday present from one of his online friends that would change his life forever. So, maybe his luck began to turn, or perhaps, did it even change at all? [MINI-SPECIALS OR CONTINUATIONS YET TO COME!] - P.S. This story is mature so expect the bad stuff, and I do not own the rights of most images or direct quotes in my work, however you will be credited if need be. I used inspiration from Just My Luck by Depore, originally a K/DA fanfic, find his work on Royal Road, The Manager series books by IvanBullock, and many more. - P.P.S. Personally, I think this story sucks compared to some of my NEWEST work (Dual Venture and beyond), but I of all people should understand that this story is not for everyone. PLEASE think before you comment! You'll catch this beautiful feature called a mute otherwise. :)

When two Soviet snipers find themselves forced to work with the Americans to get home during WWII, they must navigate the lies and bloodshed in their past and present to survive. In collaboration with @AdamantiumDragonfly * * * * Svetlana knew how to play the game. She'd been caught in the political drama of Stalin's inner circle since birth. The only child of one of Stalin's closest friends, she grew up in the limelight, scrutinized by friend and foe. With the outbreak of the war, Sveta found a taste of freedom with the snipers. For Zhanna, her place in the military was the only thing she could be proud of, giving her a tie to the place she called home. With the grace of others looming over her head, Zhanna had only one chance to be more than the blood inside her veins and the prayer on her lips. But then the Nazis invaded the Motherland. Tasked with reaching the Allies by her father, Sveta once more found herself a political pawn. But she wouldn't go alone. Friend and comrade Zhanna joined her in their flight from Russia. But with the Eastern Front crumbling, the girls found themselves at the mercy of America for a way home. And that way home meant learning to jump with the Airborne. They were already soldiers. How hard could that be? Zhanna may be able to embrace the company of those around her. But for Sveta, the daughter of a man who represented everything the Allies worked against in the Bolshevik Revolution, it may be too difficult. * * * * Originally posted on AdamantiumDragonfly's profile.
