Peculiar Stories from the Devil's Hour

These are true stories that I have experienced. None of them are in order, however, as I like to write what comes to mind instead of trying to order the events chronologically. Enjoy, and feel free to try and explain them.
These take place in one of two areas: an apartment and a house. The apartment itself is sketchy and a bit trashy, and the neighbors weren't great. Most occurrences did seem like they were in my section of the apartment, though.
For the house, I have slightly noisy neighbors, although they usually don't make noise at night except for the loud cars. The noises they make are usually just thuds, but this is almost always during the day.
For both places, I have both a dog and a cat. I got a new dog after moving into the house. Both dogs have always stayed locked up, though, except for the first one who stayed out a little while before I moved out of the apartment. All of the things in the apartment happened before he was let out for good there. I still have all 3 animals, and the dogs still stay locked up.
