After her mother passed when she was only a two year old, her abusive father was her caretaker. At the age of 8, Angel and her father, Rhett, were involved in an incident which resulted in the death of her best friend at the time, Tanya Adams. For 10 years, Angel has been carrying the guilt of her best friend's death on her back, while her father was being blamed for it, which resulted in him going to jail for homicide.
18 year old Jason Hart is a member of the gang named "The Lions." Recently, his leader, Kaiden Adams, has assigned Jason a complex task to find a girl named Angel, whom which he blames for the death of his 8 year old daughter, Tanya. Seeking revenge, Kaiden has assigned Jason to find Angel, get to know her and report back to him, and then ruthlessly kill her like she killed his daughter. Accepting the task, Jason finds Angel, but suddenly gets reeled into the deep, strong personality of her.
