The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear. Something or someone is somehow jealous of you, or because you're simply happy, and will do whatever it takes to snatch it away from you. You then feel like a part of you has been taken away, leaving you under a raining cloud of sorrow. --------------- The life of a teenage girl is always destined to be filled with drama. It is either relationship drama, school drama, family drama or sometimes all three. Jasmine is this drama destined girl who never knew her life would have taken such a big turn after falling in love with her best friend and crushing on her childhood friend whom she met after years. With secrets being revealed, the past returning, trust being gained and broken, relationships being made, and family issues, Jasmine is about to go through the craziest time period of her life. --------------- This book contains swearing and characters that will make you swoon over them. Read at your own risk.

Nope, this is not fiction-or it might be. It depends on you. This is not a typical story-I don't even know if this is worthy of being called a story. There are no characters in here that you can cheer on but yourself. You've got to be the main character in a story once, and I think that alone is enough to convince you to take this shot. Well, if you are emotional, dramatic, and insane like me, you can relate. My chapters aren't your chapters, but I bet we're on the same page. My words are your words, if you allow them. I think this is bad, but it's on you to judge. Just read it. Especially if you are young or you're feeling young. You have nothing to do anyway.
