In a quaint village on the bank of a river, is Inina - the daughter of an envoy of Talami - a Taino village. She spends much of her days playing with her friends and relaxing... until her father decided to put her in a six-month course on a far-away island. She doesn't want to go, despite knowing its significance.
 
This island, Alliouagana, has people of many tribes taking part in the course as well, such as the Ciboney and Kalinago, and other island cultures such as the Melanesians and the Hawaiians. With skills to learn and experiences to gain, this will be the most testing time of her life. It will either build her up or completely ruin her.
