I was already having a rough day before I'd spilled that coffee. It wasn't even my fault but
I knew it'd only get worse if I tried to argued the point. The infuriating man that I'd been serving shoved my arm when I was trying to poor him more coffee and it spilled across his lap making him yelp in pain. He jumped up and swung his arm knocking me to the ground. I could still feel the sting of the slap as I scrubbed Mrs Sanders parlor floor.

My whole body trembled as I tried to stop the tear that's threatening to fall. I pulled my arm away from his grip not liking the way he held my arm tightly, but very gently. Like he was afraid to hurt me but he didn't want to let go. I shook my head mentally, my feet moving faster, away from the person that destroyed everything I've believed in for. "I'm sorry" I froze mid-step, icy cold sensation travelled to my spine and I can't seem to urge my limbs to move. I try to soothe the beast. I don't really want to let him go but I know if this goes on much longer Titan will get hurt. "Mine!" He growls softly, nuzzling his nose into my neck. "Yours." I whisper pulling away so I can hold his face. "But I need to go to my dad right now... please Titan." I beg him. He looks over to my dad who is still holding out his hand expectantly then looks back to me. With a nod he let's me go and I take my dad's hand. "Take him!" Dad commands as he pulls me away. A baby's cry pierces the air as the midwife passes the baby to the awaiting hands of the father.
