Rumerra - The Journey Begins by AACrow
69 parts Complete
Since she was a little girl, Velvet has been reading stories about great wizards and witches of Rumerra's past, wishing every night to wake up one day and be blessed with the affinity for magic herself. Unfortunately, the odds are stacked against her. Both her parents had no magic and thus the chances of her developing it are slim at best. But the gods of fate smile upon her one day when she receives her mark of light, thus becoming a light witch. Acquiring magic is only the first step, however. After this comes the grueling and life-long task of mastering it. We accompany the young witch as she sets out on a journey of self-discovery, full of magic and wonder - or so she thought. Velvet quickly starts realizing that the world of Rumerra is not like the worlds she got to know in her stories at all. Compared to her hometown of Simula, Rumerra at large is vast and unforgiving. From the frigid tundra of the Frozen North to the craggy hills of Eldrasit, and the vast forests of the elven lands, Velvet encounters mercenaries, dragons, and a vast array of other creatures, all of which seem eager to demonstrate that the world is far more cruel and unforgiving than she thought. Good and evil are not so easily told apart, not everyone is to be trusted, friends can die and a happy ending is all but guaranteed. Will Velvet be able to find her place in such a world? Can she become the hero she admired in her storybooks and pass on her knowledge of magic to others as she always wanted? Or will the cruel reality shatter her illusion and bring the girl to her knees?
The princess, the commoner and the sorcerer by Samfeathers
26 parts Complete
Long ago, in the ancient kingdom of Surasena, lived two. A young princess by the name of Ananya, and a commoner whom was called Imaran. There lived also an evil sorcerer by the name of Balveer, an advisor to the Sultan. This is their story, a classic retelling of the fairy tale Aladdin. Jinn is the more proper term for genie. It can also be spelled djinn which is the Romanized version. I chose to go with the more traditional version. Cover by my dear friend who did it for me. Their art skills are absolutely impeccable! A message to all my readers: This story has many characters that are ignorant, bigoted and downright cruel to our main character. I wanted to have everyone understand that these actions are extreme examples of homophobia, and that, generally, it is far more subtle. For those that are closeted and are afraid to come out, I am here for you and I am sorry you live in an environment where you can't safely be yourself. Know that my heart is with you. If you need someone to talk to, here is a number to consider: 1-866-488-7386. This is the number for The Trevor Project, a group dedicated to helping young LGBTQ+ people. If there are people in your life who support you and you can trust, seek help. For my straight cisgender folk, please be an ally to your LGBTQ+ friends and family. Their love and gender is as valid as anyone else. In their time of need, be there for them and support them. Please enjoy my story and have a wonderful life.

It all started as a little spark in her chest, and then it grew and ignited her whole being with an outburst of emotion. Before she could recollect herself, she found out that she desired him more than anything in the world. She was madly in love. Ada was a palace maid, the most trusted servant in the palace. The king loves and cherishes her very much that he told her secrets that even the Prince himself does not know about. This led to conspiracy, anger, and jealously. The bitterness of betrayer ate Ada up when she found out that the man she loves most in the world, had tricked her into disclosing the location of the Ofor, the mantle of leadership in Alaocha, and had stolen it. Banished from the land as a traitor, Ada swore to find the Ofor and the man that had threw her into this misery. But things began to unfold when she found out that she was the rightful heir to the throne even though the culture and tradition forbids a female monarch. Without the Ofor the king is useless and the land is bare of the protection from the gods. Will Ada find this Ofor first? Will she save the village from the invaders coming from all angles Or Will, she let her emotions control her again when she finds the man that had ruined her life?
