"Are you happy?"
The question comes out of nowhere and throws me off guard... Because 3 months ago, before he attended that party, I would have said yes I'm happy... But right now, I'm not sure.
"What do you mean?"
"It's a simple question June... Are you happy?"
"Y-yes."
"Let me rephrase... Are you happily married?"
"Why are you asking me all these questions?... I've given you the answers you needed, I don't..."
"Shut the fuck up June!... It's a bloody simple question... Are. You. Happy?" he snaps.
He's really mad right now and that makes me squirm in my seat.
"Are you?"
My voice comes out barely above a whisper, but enough for him to hear what I said... He stands and begins pacing, running his hands through his hair frustratedly and messing it up, his jaw locked, and he just continues to pace and that makes me uncomfortable... I stand, and he stops pacing and just stares at me, I try to look as confident as I can, but inside I'm nervous as hell and dying to know what he's thinking.
"I'm not..."
This is a not so classic love story, filled with clichés, twists and turns, some cliffhangers, mature scenes... Yada Yada Yada... Come on!
