Ava Bailey has never been a great detective, causing her to fall victim to a colleagues taunts. She is the detective with the least number of cases solved, and because of that, everybody is wary of assigning her cases to work on.
Finally, the sergeant closest to Ava has a case for her, but on that very same day she gets the case, the police commissioner himself shows up in her office, threatening to take away her badge if she does not solve the case.
Surrounded by people who look down on her, with only two people - her best friend and the sergeant - to support her, Ava dives into the case, unaware that it is linked to something far bigger than she can ever fathom. And with every turn, the case gets even more dangerous...

Elena Ward, a determined investigative journalist, rushes home when her younger sister Clara mysteriously disappears from their quiet hometown. The case seems straightforward at first-a missing person investigation-but Elena quickly realizes that nothing in this town is what it appears to be. The local police, led by Detective Marcus Hale, welcome her help but behave strangely guarded. Neighbors provide too-perfect alibis. Friends who seem trustworthy contradict themselves in small but telling ways. It feels like everyone is lying about something. As Elena digs deeper, she discovers patterns of previous vanishings, staged crime scenes, and evidence deliberately planted to mislead-like salt swapped with sugar, appearances crafted to look harmless until it's too late. Her trust begins to fracture: Marcus appears to help her, but his evasive behavior suggests hidden motives. Dr. Adrian Locke, a town psychologist, offers insight but conceals files that could break the case wide open. Even Clara's own friends aren't innocent; their secrets twist the timeline of her last known moments. The deeper Elena pushes, the more dangerous it becomes. People connected to Clara start dying in staged "accidents." Anonymous threats warn Elena to stop digging. She realizes she's entangled in the web of a puppet master known only as "The Benefactor." As paranoia escalates, Elena's reality blurs: Who is ally, who is enemy? Can she even trust her instincts anymore? In the explosive final act, Elena uncovers the truth-Clara's disappearance was no random abduction. She was bait, a move orchestrated to draw Elena herself into the trap. The Benefactor is revealed in a gut-wrenching twist as someone Elena trusted the most, someone who had played both sides of the investigation. Their motive? A chilling mix of personal revenge and psychological obsession with testing how far trust can be weaponized.

Thirst for Bloodlust

1 part Complete Mature

It has been three months since the case involving Alistair Anderson. And in these three months, a mysterious organisation has been massacring law enforcement officers in several countries. However, Ava Bailey only finds out about this when she discovers that Alistair is linked to that organisation. She suspects that the organisation may be doing that to exact its revenge on her for killing Alistair, and her suspicions are confirmed when she is roped into the Evanescence Intelligence Service to become a spy to take down the organisation before it rains destruction down on Evanescence. Her mission seems easy enough - get into the organisation's Evanescence-based stronghold, kill the leader of the organisation, and get out alive. However, as Ava goes along with it, she discovers more about herself than she has ever had before, and most of the things are so horrible that she starts asking herself: Am I evil?
