We meet at an airport and he tells me he leaves tomorrow. He asks me to spend this one night with him scavenging the city. He is a stranger to me yet I surprise myself by saying yes. We go everywhere finding our selves entangled in one another, we tell each other everything from the deep secrets to the well known facts. I bring down my walls and be myself because the chances of us meeting again is very slim. We end the night with a kiss, never to meet again. That is until I find myself sitting next to him in class cringing after the fact that he knows things about me that are quite disastrous. We are both quite broken, maybe that's why we find ourselves comfortable in each other's presence. Then again we are too broken to fall for anyone let alone each other or so I thought. In the universe there is what we call strings bounding people to each other creating star crossed lovers, it's called the red strings of fate and when it tugs, you better come running.
