This is just me blatantly projecting.
Hi! I suffer from maladaptive daydreaming! Its not a very commonly known condition, and it normally forms as a coping mechanism stemming off of other mental illnesses, although it can quickly start hindering instead of helping. All the stuff I'm writing is from my own experiences. It fluctuates in severity a lot, but as a general it tends to hinder my day to day life. This is not a complete list of experiences, because I don't feel like writing it all out.

Some people don't understand the concept of someone's mind when they're at their worst in life. Others grasp the pain these people are in. I am one of those people whom grasp it but also experience it, long term. I am Harper, and I happen to be a young adult suffer many mental illnesses. As I stay in this asylum, I experience not only suffering but love, bravery and paranormal activity. All while locked in a celled room and forced to collaborate with some of the best and worst people I could meet in my 23 years of life. But this asylum holds more secrets than it does people. What was that? A lost monkey? A shadow? A demon? At this point, who knows. He certainly can't tell. MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long. After all, you can't chase away the things that follow you when your mind finally decides to betray you. *This story is based on my OWN experiences with hallucinations. (Also known universaly as projecting on some poor fictional character that really doesn't deserve this.) (This will be marked mature for the realistic depections of mental health. You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time. If every waking day wasn't spent reflecting over his actions while he was part of the Eggpire, then his dreams plagued him to the point that he swears he's becoming mad. What doesn't help is that he's in prison. ...
