Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. I had trouble sleeping that night. I was conflicted. Why would someone be hunting in woods with no game? My mind was telling me not to go back. "Someone was out to get you, why would you go back? You're smarter than that. You were in a clearing; they clearly saw that you were a person and not an animal. Stupid. You're stupid," it said. My curiosity said otherwise. I planned on going back next week. I needed to convalesce for a while after my little excursion. I got up, took some sleeping medication, and drifted off to sleep. They say curiously killed the cat, but mine damn will kill me. Hello to anyone reading! This is going to be the first Wattpad story that I might actually keep up with. I've had many others that have failed, so I eventually just gave up. This one, though, I hope to be much different.
