Why did he have to be this way, Levi always wondered. Envy, the worst sin of all in his opinion. At least Beel and Belphie could indulge in theirs as much as they like, Asmo was adored by so many and didn't have to suffer because of his sin, Mammon didn't even try to resist the temptation of Greed. Lucifer had everything together and Satan indulged in his anger by curses. And what did Levi have? Constantly jealousy and feelings of inadequacy. At least his brothers could love themselves, but he couldn't even do that and he had no one to love him either except for Ruri-chan and Henry.

But things changed when he met you. He didn't understand it, but you spent time with him and listened to him as he would go on and on about all he loves. You were the friend he always wanted and yet he still found it to be enough. He wanted you as more than that, but he was still so scared you'd see him as the yucky otaku that he really was. How would he be able to tell you his true feelings if he didn't even feel worthy of your friendship?
