~Prologue~
(...) As I gather my strength and take in another oxygen-deprived breath, I exclaim from the top of my lungs, or what is left of it,
-"I am Naomi Owens from the Silverfalls Pack; sister of Gabriel Owens and daughter of Alpha Sam Owens. I wish to speak to my brother!" Morgan gasps behind me. Through the corner of my eye, I see her cover her mouth in surprise.
I never gave her my last name, so she never really knew who I was. I suppose hearing my exclamation gave her a shock. She leans into me and whispers,
-"You're from the Silverfalls Pack? I have heard the legends of your ancestors. It all makes sense now! Just like the legends - the stronger inner energy, the larger wolf form, the crazy stamina. Not to mention mind-linking out of nowhere. Like, for real?! Who was I kidding when I offered to help you?"
Before I could reply, the warriors surrounding us gave way to allow for Alphas to come through. They shifted back into their human forms and I look down, avoiding their naked bodies.
I am a conservative girl, so I like to think, therefore I keep my gaze on the ground. Two voices spoke, "mate" amongst the four. One of the voices was familiar to me, Lee. I lift my gaze to see him staring lustfully to the person standing behind to me. Tears fall down Morgan's face as she whispers "mate" back softly.
As I look back towards the Alphas, I am immediately pulled into a tight embrace by muscled arms, filling me with warmth. The voice of the person embracing me growls,
