Centuries after the Salem witch trials, four teens have to deal with a mysterious mist that put their loved ones in a deep eternal sleep. 

While seeking answers, they find out about who they really are. They must explore Amaranth's secrets to find the cure.

The city of Amaranth was named after the flower that kept them safe and hidden from the rest of the world. The leaders made an agreement that they would keep in touch with the outside world but no one must disclose Amaranth's greatest secret. They had a witch among them. As time would go on the witch got sick and couldn't cure herself. She picked out four young apprentices and gave them each a portion of her power. She died not long after. The four kept the city safe, but one night Amaranth was ambushed by outsiders. The amaranth was stolen and the barrier dissolved. The outsiders killed everyone in Amaranth, including the apprentices, but one managed to escape. As time passed by their descendants lived separate lives not knowing they were special.
