after the pale king sealed the abyss, with 9% of the vessels still alive, trapped with the corpses of they're siblings, they strive for freedom.
they go as far as to escape, yet it seems hallownest is hunting down the last of their kind.
(note: in this au, the pale king never died, and hornet grew up and departed the palace as a hunter, yet, the infection is still a problem, the pale king never abandoned hallownest, but the rules and regulations of hallownest grow harsh becuase of it, kingsmoulds patrol most of hallownest, and they dong like vessels either).

Together At Last (HIATUS)
This is a story I've written mostly for myself on Google Docs, but I have decided to publish it. It's unfinished so far, and is a 4X-centric XFHOV Au (yes yes a 2nd one and only 6 chapters into my other Au) anyway yeah TW: possible blood/gore, mentions of demons and soul summoning, death, 4x, 4 and 2 being siblings, just a drop of lime (aka kisses and getting pinned down but that's IT I SWEAR), Six X Nine bc yes, and POSSIBLE One X Two, Nine mostly using female pronouns (i can't write frying pan genders they are so hard okay??), more death bc it's also a demon-centric au (what do u expect some people gotta die), and POSSIBLE gore but idk yet Desc: X has been living their life, carrying the heavy guilt of their closest friend's death on their back for years. But when they finally find a way to bring Four back, he's not exactly the same...
My Crazy Years
They kept calling you weird, the one who doesn't fit in and never will. You never cared, but your parents did. When an uncle you barely knew anything about comes and asks them to let you come live with him so you could help him, they agreed, thinking it was for the best. You accepted, thinking it won't be a big deal... until you found his bug collection... weird, talking bugs.Complete

People in her city were always widely curious about her life and some boys had actually tried to invite her out on dates, to the horror of her mother. She didn't know what happened to them because her mom didn't accept any invitations and she never talked with any of them either. Now at 23, tragedy had arrived in her life. Her mom had passed away from a stroke and she had no one to rely on but an untie that mom had said she should seek in case something happened. She needed to travel alone to her mom auntie's home, without any sort of companion. She didn't dare accept anyone who offered to help her because mom had said she should trust just her auntie and anyone else. Belial of Hallownest: A Hollow Knight Fanfiction
When he first reached the top of that dark Abyss, he was cast aside by the being that shone like a beacon in the darkness, his father, because he was not hollow. Unlike the others that fell back into that Abyss, he survived, and watched his father repeat the cycle until he escaped with a new name. Now taken in by The Grimm Troupe, he will return to that kingdom, to Hallownest one day, and upon his return, he will prove those that thought him worthless very wrong. Hollow Knight Fanfic - The White King's Return
"You can devour the light with your darkness, but you will never extinguish its brightness. You can create the perfect vessel, a container of absolute darkness, but there is something you can never create. A container empty. Well, everything that crawls, flies or walks will always... always have a soul. And every soul can be corrupted." Last words of Monomon, the teacher, to the White King before falling into her deep sleep. The Hollow Knight has been replaced. The Radiance that swept through the channels of so much of the kingdom, now it's just a nightmare of days of the past. The knight, after his long journey, took his place as the new Hollow Knight, and now he rests in his eternal litigation to contain the rot that lives in his inside. Along. Inside the Temple of the Black Egg. An eternal condemnation from which he could never escape. But if one thing is certain, it is that, unlike meat, light can never be devoured. Now. For those of you who have already finished the game and were drawn by the poetic introduction, there are a few things I want to clarify so that you can understand this story. 1 - This story takes place between the events of the original game and the Hornet prequel. 2 - This story was made before the release of the prequel, so I apologize in advance if something doesn't match the lore in the future. 3 - The ending chosen was in which the knight is sealed with the Radiance inside the temple of the Black Egg and Hornet survives. What the fans call ending #1. 4 - The events of the Soul of Steel mode do not apply 5 - The seeker of gods was never found 6 - Zote was not rescued and died at the start of the game. (I know this seems silly, but believe me when I say that this will be the first link in the butterfly effect that will develop this entire plot) With everything clarified given the large number of possible endings, we begin with the story.Complete
