That all changes when a certain mischeif vampire and a scared kitten come tumbling on his doorstep.
Conner was abandoned at birth and was raised in foster homes until age 15 when he shifted into an unusual cat, a karakal, and ran off to live as an animal. Fifteen years later Conner is making a living, as an alley cat. Abandoning where he began he moved around until locating in a small rural community with an overbearing mansion on a hill looking over at the town. Conner knows of shifters, since he is one himself, but he's in for a rude awakening when he discovers this little town isn't so human after all, but a supernatural haven where at the top of the hill a coven of vampires rule over this sanctuary.
