Kierastyn comes to Joplin, Missouri after a rough childhood and immediately feels out of place. She meets Adair, who helps her figure out her place in this new town. She meets all the different groups in town including, the richest group in town lead by Autumn, the mayor's daughter. The kids experience the oppression that is bound to happen in a small town and chose to stand against it. Kierastyn is happy until tragedy strikes Joplin.
