It's been 200 years since the fall of humanity, and for Mara, her life is just starting, living in the new cities that have been built up from the crumbs and ruins of the lost ones.
As time goes on, things change for Mara and she starts to realize her whole world isn't what it seemed to be, and she finds companionship and romance in the best way possible, never realizing it's what she needed all along.
She meets Sabine, the most beautiful and captivating person she has ever seen, and instantly there is a connection. Neither of them realize what it is though, until they start getting closer.
