It takes a mind more powerful, a heart ice cold, centuries to plan, and of course, their weakness. They say a person who burns at the stake is a witch. A person that can swim , or one who can't, is a witch. But they were wrong; a witch is hereditary, passed from father to son or mother to daughter. Only a true witch has power, and only a true Witch can survive. The question is: who will? What could it take to kill a witch? MEET THE CAST Audrey Graham: This sophisticated, yet tempered teen, is a witch. She attends Hewington Academy and is happy in the place she is. Of course when she finds odd things in her attic of all places and she has to find their meaning. What is she suppose to do with an empty book, and another book that’s full of names? Callan McQueen: A new arrival in Larson City. He's starting a new page in his book, by starting in a new place. Miles from home he worries for his mothers safety. When he finds a piece if jewelry in his packed things, his whole life begins to change. With a family full of regular average members. How did he become a sorcerer? Palmer Harrison: The youngest detective in Larson City, Nebraska. In short words he's a playboy no doubt. But how does being a ladies man intertwine with being a sorcerer? Well Palmer has the luck of the roll, yeah he just "wings it". Noel Quinn: In Foster County on the outskirts of Larson City. She’s interning for The Daily Catch; a newspaper. She has all the connections she can perceive. She has brains and is a little more sly on the eyes than she is worth excepting. Her personality is completely honest... So how can she lie to everyone she knows about her being a witch?

I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ... Maybe Nox Haven was a school for psychos after all. ---------------------------------------------------------- Highest Rank: #2 in Paranormal 1st Place winner of The Night Shift's Killer Competition 4/10/16 Illustration by: Stephanie Pitino (www.ClairObscur.fr) (1st book in series)
