However, he finds himself at the foot of a very tall tower that hadn't been there the day before, and sitting in the garden in front of the tower is a girl who is clearly the daughter of an important family. They become friends, with tragedies in common, but it's clear that there is something sinister at play that will cause their lives to be entangled for good.
