Liliana was a human turned slave. She didn't want to be one so when she had enough, she made up a plan for when she was going to get sold she decided that during transportation she was going to break out.
She was taken by someone unexpected, who no one thought wanted a slave because they thought humans were a disgusting race, one who thought killing humans was a sport.
While she was in this person's company she started to get feelings that she didn't quite understand, she didn't want to feel them for her because they were a monster as she thought.
