'How could I get lost at a time like this?' I think to myself. Before I can make another movement I feel a blade poke me from behind. The metal cool against the exposed skin of my bare back, sending shivers of fear through me. "Don't move." A brisk voice demands, and my breath hitches. "I won't hesitate to drive this spear through your heart if you do." He warns. ~•~• Wanga is a story about, Wanga, the daughter of the head man of the tribe of Elemiah. The clan orginates from deep in the sub-Saharan region of Africa, where a mighty river flows bringing them nourishment and vegetation. The tribe of Chidoki has been terrorising villages in their region for many years, having a reputation of being ruthless warriors. Rumor has it that the whole clan is made up entirely of men. The book follows Wanga on a journey of self discovery, passion and love. As she faces the challenges of any young woman of her era, she strives to push societal boundaries and restore peace in the region.
