A Tale of an African son

Dear Mom & Dad;
It is sad for this revelation but to reveal is more relief. As the mind, prompted by the fast rhyming of the rhythmic heart beat, purge out words, words of sorrow, emotion, and distress. They are from the mind through the mouth to be listened to but only by listeners . Are you a listener Mom, Dad?

Valleys of waters are pour out of my eyes are I look see me, my friends, siblings, and oh! The heroes of the future, being fearless. Fearless of the moving vehicles as we run pass between them to fulfill our post destined duty as bread winners, family providers, and siblings caterers. Why Mom, Dad?

I have enjoyed the pains of sorrow all days beside that day, when I first came into this world, the world of wonders. When you, Mom & Dad, were singing glorifying songs to YAWEH as a son was being born but Mom, Dad, is this why you celebrated for? That I have come to replace you.

It's pitiful to be me. Each day and everyday I serve Ministers, Presidents, Justices as I stand still in the middle of the road making money for the sustainment of my family, watching them pass go to schools. Don't I deserve to be served, go to school and be watched Mom, Dad? am I who you want me to be?

Am I not to be called President, Minister, Ambassador, Lawyer or Doctor? Yes! I can be called that too but how will I? Is it by you sending me to sell water in the streets? or by sending me to school? Answer me please Mom, and you Dad.

Or do you admire seeing me like this, hmm Mom, Dad? Tell me why so, why do you treat me like I'm a father? when I'm still your child. You know what Mom & Dad, I'm proud being your child, a child of an African parents. But please educate me my beloved Mommy and Daddy, I am an African child and can great things too!!!!

But the greatest question is, WHY? Do you treat me this way Mom & Dad.
