"You seem to be taking this easy." He flipped another page of his novel with ease, showing that he was clearly engrossed in the contents of the plot. Though Misako knew otherwise. He always seemed to calm her with his aura, ever since their little dinner she found a little flame of care spark within her heart. She didn't think much of it anyway, at the time.
 She was good with how she handled herself, though it wasn't a surprise that Kakashi was confronting her. She knew he was suspicous of her from day one.
Though that didn't stop her from teasing him.

Today, seemed a little different.
Misako thought.
Today, he's serious.

Misako's fake amusement had long vanished, and she made it clear to Kakashi that she was taking this conversation serious. A little too serious for the jounin's liking...
Instead of the small cheerful smile she always show-cased to the man, she pursed her lips into a thin line, staring blankly at Kakashi as she seemingly racked her brain for an answer.

Though the both of them knew the answer she gave held more meaning than what most would think. 
  
  His nonchalant demeanor seemed to calm the girl a bit, but all in all, the only answer she could offer was the hanging of her head.

(Excerpt) "Itachi... you didn't, did you?" Miyako gasped out nervously, making Itachi let out a sob. "I suspected you were a Shinjitsu," Itachi replied and Miyako started to shake as she tried to push out of his arms, but he pulled her closer to him. "Please, Miyako-chan, just know I did it for a reason. Look after Sasuke, he'll need someone to watch out for him," Itachi begged. "Hisoka!" Miyako gasped out as realization hit her as the stray thought she had heard crossed the teens mind again. "No! Let go of me! Bastard! Let go of me!" she shouted, struggling to get out of his embrace. Itachi let the girl go, she hastily stepped back, eyes filled with tears, anger, confusion, and worst of all, hatred, as she looked at the boy in front of her. Itachi winced at the eyes, his heart clenching at the look she was giving him. "Miyako-chan, please," he whispered but she cut him off. "No! Just leave you murderer! Don't come near me or Sasuke again!" Miyako screamed before turning around and rushing away, leaving Itachi behind as tears dripped down his porcelain-coloured cheeks.
