All Cara ever wanted was for him to be out of her life.He caused her too much pain and brought out the worst side of her. No matter how much they try to run from each other, they are bound together by their childhood best friends who happen to be madly in love but even that is not enough for them to settle their differences. One evening, they both get a call that changes their lives.

Both her child hood best friend and her husband were killed in a drunk driver accident. But what about their children? Will that be enough for Cara and Reece to work through their problems and make it work?

He pinned me against the wall,"You can't avoid me forever" Reece whispered, the low hum of his voice, started to create a familiar burn. As if sensing his effect on me, his lips turned upwards grazing the shell of my ear.
Somehow despite my wild heart and shaky breaths, I still managed to sound firm,"Don't underestimate me Wilson" I took a step back, but held my chin high, meeting his stormy orbs that burned with intensity and swirled with excitement.
"Don't give me a reason to" the simple answer made me flare with anger. If there was one thing I hated it was when Reece Wilson made me feel inferior and by the way he stares at me, defiantly, almost smirking at my expense, I knew he knew it too. We were fire and ice.
