Eighteen hundred years ago the sky was lit on fire by a large object cutting through the sky towards the very center of life as the land that was to become Erdas would know it. A fiery explosion of death and destruction erupted across the lands of Pyrrhia and Pantala upon contact with the Evertree. All life would have been destroyed if not for the Dragon Riders, an ancient order that ruled before the Greencloaks.
Traveling to the distant land of Alagaesia, they struggle to fit in to their new home, especially with the fourteen Dragon Tribes they brought with them causing constant conflicts with the native Dragons and other species of Alagaesia.
In this short story follow the adventures of Baobab and Marula, the discovers of the Evertree; Raegel and Oak, the explorers of the Outer Reaches, and the first recognizers of the SilkWings and HiveWings; and Viserra and Lycaena, the original enemies of the Wyrm.

This story will cover the history of the Wyrm's beginnings, how Erdas was formed, and how the Great Beasts came to be.

Nimue's wish however comes true when she touches a dark blue dragon egg from a Dragon Rider, and it hatches for her. This a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and The Inheritance Cycle. [Wings of fire - Evolution AU] What if Darkstalker listened to Fathom? The dragonets of destiny never had a destiny. They were hatched just like every other dragon, on the rim of war, ready to fight for their tribes and die for their world. Except, they aren't the exact same dragonets that you know, having never lived under the mountain, never growing up together. Though they may still be the dragonets that you remember. -Daily updates- From chapter 2: Uhar woke, blinking in confusion at the light. He'd never seen anything this bright in his life. Looking out over the cliff, he saw the source, like a blinding flame that was thousands of times more powerful than any spark. It was round and it rested in the sky far above him, illuminating the ground below. It was strange in more ways than that. Since it seemed as if the sky itself was broken. The whiteness that had completely covered it before had moved. Revealing a bright endless blue behind. There were still patches of that whiteness far above, but they seemed fluffy now, no longer a blanket of dread covering the world. They were all different shapes and sizes, but they had none of the previously uniform aesthetic. The sky was turning bright colors as he watched, reds and oranges, reflecting off those white things into pinks and purples as well, it was the most wonderful thing that Uhar had ever seen, colors he'd never even imagined were in that sky. He watched the world in awe, feeling his ears rise with excitement. If this was the world his ancestors had left behind, he couldn't imagine why they'd ever wanted to leave.

Ermine is the eldest son of Chief Tonraq and Chieftess Senna, and older brother to Sokka and Korra. And is to be future chief of his village in Arctica. He always longed for freedom from his duties. He wished he could escape like his older cousins, Korren and Kya, who three years ago bonded with dragons and became the most powerful beings in Erdas, except for the Great Beasts themselves. And then left to begin their training on the mysterious island base of the Dragon Riders. He however, gets his wish, but will his father, who is one not to let go, let him go to begin his training with his cousins? Moray and his parents are loyal subjects to the king and queen of The Hundred Isles. When he hears rumors that the Riders are returning, and he accidentally finds a dragon egg, and it hatches. Where will he decides his loyalty belongs: to his family and people or to the Riders and Erdas? Toph Beifong is the only daughter of of Lao and Poppy Beifong, one of the wealthiest families in Xia Kao Dai, the capital city of Zhong. Her parents always sheltered her too much that no one even knew she existed because they believed her to be too frail and defenseless because she was born blind. When Toph runs away one day and comes face to face with a legendary beast, thought to be extinct, will it kill her or save her from her current life? This is a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and the Inheritance Cycle. I used Toph because I just really like her character and life and love how she went from the quiet, frail girl to the strong independent person she becomes in Avatar the Last Airbender. Again I used magic from Harry Potter. I used names from ATLA because I like their names , but their personalities and appearances are not the same, except for Toph.

Every year, swaths of 20-year-olds descend upon a college campus. Unfortunately, this college specializes in war, in consideration of the one raging at its borders. Outposts and enemies line the eastern mountains, guarded by many from the army, but most notably, the Dragon Riders. (Y/N)'s future was determined long before he was born. As far as he was concerned, none of that destiny included Basgiath; not after he watched his grandfather descend into mad ramblings from his battles after bonding a dragon, then fell to the whims of a power-hungry Colonel who would do anything to hurt him. The quadrant destroyed the good and empowered the bad, and he wanted nothing to do with it, no matter what his name spelled. Xaden Riorson's future was clear, no Basgiath or dragons in sight. That was, until he was 16, when his father's apostasy-turned-secession fell apart; his home was burned; and his father went missing, only to be reported by someone he thought was an ally, then murdered. Unfortunately for both of them, Basgiath wouldn't let them off so easily. Xaden had a two year head start and became a Wingleader, ready-and willing-to sacrifice anything to fulfill his goals. Some may call them selfish and many call him ruthless, but he's no stranger to prescribed titles. (Y/N) stood before the bridge, but he had no intention of making it across. His ruined future and unstable life would be given to a cause much more worthy than the torture of Basgiath: his mother, his father, and his patron: Zihnal, the God of Chaos. *HE/HIM* [Book 1 of 2]

"I have only ever known loss and ruin. I lost my father. I lost my home. I lost my people. I lost whatever power I had just so I could protect what was left of my legacy. Now I know none of it ever mattered to me the way you do." This is a story about what true feelings mean when compared to the absurd force of a broken heart. How love may disappear but never truly leaves you behind. How friendship can become love and then nothing at all. A dragon without its mate is death incarnate. A rider without his soulmate is death still breathing.
