"Love is just a word until you find someone who gives it meaning."

Mahalia Lawson is a twenty-two year old college sophomore with a big heart. She would give anything to fall in love. Too sweet and too giving, she decides to change that. After the breakup with her ex, her heart shatters. She vows to never let anyone that close to her again.

Keyon Williams is the love of Mahalia's life who sadly, broke her heart. He doesn't know who he wants more. He wants badly to fix things with Mahalia but he knows he can't stop the streets from calling. His attitude will get the best of him and one drastic decision will change his life forever.

Zaire Harris is a twenty-five year old hothead. He doesn't like to listen and often gets into trouble. His heart is set on good intentions but the words he says are venomous. He isn't attracted to Mahalia at first because she's "too big" because he's used to the usual slim girls. Then, he realizes that she might be his only shot at one true love.

Will Zaire take advantage of Mahalia or is Mahalia torn between the two?
