This is the first story I wrote as a teenager. It is a story of my best friend and me as one. He is no longer here. And I struggled to continue without him. But here I am, rewriting and polishing this story while keeping the main plot to the best I can. I hope you enjoy.

5 years ago, I lost my best friend. All because he confessed his feelings for me and I over thought things. I was left on my own only to realize too late that the feelings were mutual. Now, I vow to love the next guy wholeheartedly, with no reservations, no regrets. I only live once. Let's not make things complicated.
