Being alone and always in the shadows were never a problem with Maverick Anahera Fray. Though her brown skin and black hair stuck out like a sore thumb when with her mother and sister whose skin was as pale as snow. She knew how to keep to herself but stood up and voiced her opinion. Like her name she is very independent, Very strong-headed, but modest. She speaks her mind when she deems fit.
What happens when one day, on her and her sister's birthday, their world get flipped and twisted. The recently turned 21 year old and her 18 year old sister gets thrown into a world the weren't prepared for. Trying and learning new things were never a problem but when she meets a certain dark brown haired, hazel eyed, man covered in weird tattoos similar to the one she has on her wrist.
