The Blood Moon
Luna is a powerful and mysterious woman from an unspeakable origin. She lives in the deepest part of the forest, far away from the others. She is regarded with both respect and fear in the rare dreadful times that she heads down the mountain. Eyes filled with unadulterated fear follow her as she passes. Her descent only means one thing: The Blood Moon.
The Blood Moon is a phenomena that happens once a year and lasts for two weeks. It is the time that men and women look forward to with fear and desperation. The Blood Moon rises on the sixth month of the year, rousing all dangerous creatures from their sleep, including the most dangerous of all, the devils. They awaken, brimming with power and hunger for human flesh. The only protection they have is Luna's warnings and the barrier spells of the village witch, Vaga.
But hope has gone bleak when the witch dies and they are left on the hands of Legosi, the old woman's apprentice who has not yet awakened his real power. With only him to aid her, Luna is forced into a corner by the demons. This year's blood moon is different, that she knew for sure. She is fighting, not just to save the others, but also herself, because now they didn't crave just another human flesh, they craved hers.
