I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him.
