((Just your average Lams Collage AU that will probably almost as interesting as canned tomato soup.))
Alexander Hamilton and College shouldn't be in the same sentence. It never was. The son of a whore and Scotsman, the orphan of Nevis, the boy who survived the hurricane, going to King's College. No one expected it, no one thought of it, yet it happened.
John Laurens, the son of a lawyer, expected to outlive his father's legacy as a lawyer. Throughout his life, nothing ever seems to work out well for him. But when he's sent to King's College, things change.
Both are poor, both are weak, and both never fell in love.

"King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that.
