Paws 'n' Flaws is the story of a tabby cat named Tanzania (referred to as Tangy) who has a yearning desire to be adopted and loved by an owner someday. She embarks on a journey after running away from her abusive cat adoption center. After much traveling, she stumbles upon a canine village in rural Japan. While there, she meets a desperate hungry bear, a persistent stalker wolf, and an egotistical dire wolf mayor who runs a village dedicated to canines only. In a deal to find her a happy home and caring owner, the mayor enlists her help in convincing the village to allow the integration of other species', treating them all equally as they would other canines. Things become problematic when Tanzania begins to catch feelings for a particular wolf in the village who secretly returns her feelings, forming a relationship that most in the village would consider taboo.
