*BEFORE READING* Note that this is the ORIGINAL/UNEDITED draft of my novel Out of Tune. This was written in 2015 and is in a VERY different style than how I currently write. I've reposted this draft due to requests from readers but please do not point out spelling/grammar issues or plot holes in this version as I will not EVER be editing this draft. 

For those who are opening this book for the first time and have not read the revised 2020 draft, I STRONGLY encourage you to read that version instead of this one (it is completed and can be found on my profile). Many of my novels have characters that overlap and appear in multiple books and that is the case for Out of Tune (new and old versions). Due to that, I want to point out that this draft of Out of Tune does NOT fit with my other newer books in terms of timeline or character depictions. It only overlaps with the 2015 OLD DRAFT of 'The It Boy' which has since been rewritten/completed in 2021 and released under a new title "A Side Effect of Celebrity"

I certainly didn't expect to find any vampires. They were a myth, right?

"Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." Then, I turn and leave. ~~~~ Truce Mane is a girl who recently moved to New York with her youngest niece and nephew along with her uncle Mike. Truce went through many things as a child. She still went through them. Her mother blamed her for everything. She would get into Street fights. As in, she would fight in a dark alley with whoever she could. Sounds bad, huh? Sam's p.o.v- My heart beat loudly in my ears. A soft smile played on my lips as I kissed all over her forehead, face, anywhere I could. She nuzzled into my chest and I sighed in content. Thoughtlessly, I placed my hand on her chest, covering her tattoo. She froze, glancing at my hand and then at me. I could feel her heart beat quicken, causing me to look up. "I don't think I can express how much I love you," I sighed, making her grin. "You can try," She prompted, causing a smirk to spread across my face. "I can," I agreed, gently pushing her down and hovering over her. "You know," She mumbled as she looked up at me, pushing my hair behind my ear, "I hate it when you're mad at me." "Me too," I admitted, leaning down and kissing her. Basically it starts off with Sam trapped in the basement of that crazy woman British Men Of letters person. He's all alone and he thinks Dean is dead, he doesn't know Marie is alive (obviously) and he doesn't know where Cass is. All of the sudden though, a woman he doesn't know comes to his rescue, seeming to know all about him). She takes him back home and meets Dean (who is very shocked to see this random lady with his tortured brother) She meets Cass and they know each other. A bunch of stuff happens, and she's got some dark secrets. Her and Sam's relationship blossoms into a fluffy ball of adorable that made me happy to write. (The overall theme fits the song Windows by Angel Oleson really well and I'd recommend you listen to it. Also, yes I know at some parts it's really cringey but I was a baby writer for the first parts of the book. It gets better and I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna try to go back and edit it but I'm really busy recently.)
