After defeating the enemy organization SPYDER, Ben Ripley finally thinks that his life will go back to normal: Or at least, as normal as attending the top-secret CIA academy of espionage can be. Then, a bomb goes off in the middle of class. Worse yet, Erica Hale, his friend and the person he trusted most at school, seems to be responsible.
(This will basically be my take on the description Stuart Gibbs [the original author and owner of the Spy School series] gave out for his next book coming out in October. Hope you enjoy!)

Spy School: Prom?
Benjamin Ripley was learning fast. He is the second best spy in training in the entire school, just ahead of Joshua Hallal, and behind the most amazing spy and girl he's ever met, Erica Hale. He quickly falls in love with her, but isn't quite sure how she feels about him. Ben is hurt when all his friends have prom dates but him, even Erica. He's even more heartbroken when Erica is going with Joshua, who is a complete jerk, especially to Ben and his friends. Ben suspects she shouldn't trust Joshua, and she pushes him away saying he's a bad friend. Just when he's as hurt as he thinks he can take and wanting to end it all, Erica comes in crying. Joshua cheated on her like Ben predicted. Ben wants to kill Joshua for hurting her so bad. Will there be a big fight? Erica apologizes but will their friendship heal, or maybe even grow to be more than just a friendship? I do not own these characters, Stuart Gibbs does, though the plot is mine.Complete

I really like the way Stuart Gibbs writes, and I fully admit I am trying hard to copy his style. I don't know if I was successful or not. Hopefully, some of you will enjoy this short half-novel. I know it probably starts a little slow, but it does pick up. At least, I am having fun writing it. Takes place after Spy School Goes to Sea. It contains spoilers from all the novels.
