YOUR MIND IS NOT YOUR OWN.

"When you're in battle against someone inside your head for pieces of your mind, for control over your own body - you need full concentration, or you lose.

And losing means death.

The scientific term isn't really death. At least that was what they said before they, too, succumbed and lost. But I understood why - your body still functions. It moves and breathes and eats. Maybe it will function even better.

It's just that someone else is doing the moving, the breathing, the eating, the thinking. What is a body but a vessel for the soul?

No, they didn't call it death. They called it Fragmentation."
