They never found any traces of the murderer. Kat has glitches here and there; seeing, hearing, and feeling things that are not there. She also has black outs, and dreams about strange things. Sometimes she even thinks she was the one who murdered her own parents. When she returns to San Diego to visit her siblings, her life turns into a rollercoaster. Bouncing between her boyfriend and her ex-love, her parents death, and figuring out the difference between friends and enemies, her life becomes pretty hectic.

Everyone she is fighting for aren't the same people they once were and Remi is changing too, but is it for better or for worse? Her little group try to survive but as time goes on Remi begins to believe that if the apocalypse doesn't end soon she will die and quickly learns that trusting the wrong people could be fatal.
