Maisie Milan has always tried to be an optimistic, confident person, determined to make her sixth-form years positive despite a recent family issue. But when the mysterious, quiet emo boy Jude Hayden makes an appearance at the school, Masie can't help but notice him and wonder what made him so dark and introverted. And when she finally gains the courage to talk to him, she realises that the more time they spend together, the more she's learning about herself and the not-so-bright and sunny parts of life that she's tried to ignore for the past year. Will Maisie ever understand the boy who sees the world in black and white? Will Jude be able to move on from his troubled past and get the courage to open up for the first time in months? And will Masie and Jude find true happiness in each other - even when Maisie's worst nightmare comes true and pushes her friendly, sunny personality to its limits?

I was never meant to stand out. Just a quiet guy in a crowded world-walking hallways, reading books I never cared about, watching people laugh from a distance. Then one day... she forgot her book in the library, Hana. She didn't say much. She never smiled. But for the first time, I saw someone who felt like a reflection of me - Alone. Detached. Tired. I don't know why I picked up her book, but I did. And that one, simple decision? It changed everything. This isn't some perfect love story. We didn't fall fast. We just... found each other-in the silence, in the grief, in the little moments most people overlook. This is about loneliness. About losing everything. About finding someone when you've stopped looking. And about learning to live, even when your days are numbered. This is our story. These are our... Unwritten Pages.
