This book was a light, quick, and enjoyable read that was entertaining at the time, but did not leave a lasting impression on me as a reader. Cupid's Match is a modern representation of Greek mythology with Cupid embodied as a matchmaking service that matches people together that were meant to fall in love. Cupid's match follows Lila Black in LA who has been receiving mail from a dating agency called Cupid's Match Services, she already has a boyfriend called James. She has been matched with Cupid himself - an actual paranormal being, the God of Love. She then finds out Cupid is starting the same high school as her so there's no avoiding him. I like Lila as a character she seems to have a good set of morals. My heart went out to her what she's been through loosing her mother & her having to care for her father. Cupid was sexy, mysterious and mischievous. I loved the way he protected and cared about Lila. The way he was physically described meant I could picture him as a totally handsome guy. Good descriptions of the scenery and surroundings. Like the way the author mixed Lila's feelings of anger and desire. The romance wasn't insta-love despite being matched together the tension built up slowly. High school romances always seem to get me out of a reading slump, but with the mythology twist this was unlike anything I've read before and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I finished it in a day nice, easy read. Overall, i would characterize this book as fantasy and would recommend it for any teenager or lover of YA or mythology if you are looking for something light. This is not a book full of insights or deep moments.

"DREW!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I sprinted through the crowd of many passerbys walking through the streets of New York. I could see him in clear view as he turned his head confused until he saw me. "Chloe?" He said clearly confused until the grin crossed his face "You came back to me?" I ran right into his arms and wrapped mine around his neck "Of course... I'll always come back to you Drew." Meet Chloe Blake, an intelligent book worm nerd who has made her life in high school going unnoticed by her peers and the popular 'it' crowd untill... Drew Simons the bad boy of Monroe High takes a notice and a liking in her and soon the unlikely pair grow to be friends... but what happens when their feelings start to grow even more will their relationship be ruined forever? Or will they fall deep, deep in love? Time for a letter to Cupid if you ask me.... *Bear in mind I wrote this when I was twelve, I keep on meaning to get around to editing it but lets be honest I'm too lazy :P thank you all for your love and support throughout this story and for those who have yet to read I hope you like it enough to ignore my shitty writing style from five years ago*
