"June!" my eyes surged with unshed tears. He saw my eyes and the next moment he dried my tears with the sleeve of his shirt.
"Eat," he placed a piece of chocolate cake in my mouth.
Having the piece in my mouth, "I only want you," I said in a melodramatic way.
He propped himself up in his elbow and stared at me. Seeing him, the piece slipped in my food pipe slowly.
"Don't worry Tulip, it's a standing joke, I am always with you," he said, not touching the food on his plate.
I swallowed hard, "Does this mean we're going to grow old and marry?"
"I've never thought about that before, ever. But...the fact is I'd love my dear Tulip."
"June, try not to make any snap decisions when you meet other girls. You probably think they are your type, but in the end, they will break your heart, so you stick with me June," I said waggishly.
"Maybe I would try new great-looking females," he said with a wink.
"June, then how about I play with my family members."
"Try it and then you will know me," he said in a murderous glare.
"I love you," I said to him, chewing my lips.
All seriousness left his face."Stop chewing your lips or I might do something you would regret later," he said standing from the chair.
"Why are you standing? you didn't even touch the plate."
"I lost my appetite for food," he said and took my hands and started walking towards the exit.
"What happened to him?" I questioned myself not waiting for the answer.
