Lucy is just a normal girl that just so happens to be drawn to danger. Though she has had it rough first: her father was killed in war combat. second: her mothers found on the doorstep dead. third: with nowhere to go but the dreaded orphanage. 

Just when she gets used to things Dane comes along and makes her feel things she hadn't felt for a long time and when Blake arrives she discovers that there is more to them and the world than she thought. And they also have to find Lucy's brother-like boy Jake who was taken and the person knows who Lucy, Dane and Blake are. 

As the three go on Lucy finds out that the danders out there are more dangerous than she thought, but with Blake and Dane at her side will it make a difference or will it make her life a living hell. 

Lucy is no longer a normal girl she is different and more scared than shes ever been before...

They have to runaway to find the danger and destroy it before it's too late, and if that's not enough try adding a lost love to it as well. Lucy finds out that she has to decide who she wants to be with either: Dane, Blake or her lost love.
