Betty thought she left her high school years behind. She moved to a new city where she started college, met new people, basically started a new life. She's had a boyfriend before, but she never cared about him the way she thought she was supposed to. So it's understandable that she was taken by surprise when she realised she's developed strong feelings for her new best friend. Female best friend. Years after, she decides to write her a letter explaining the way she's always felt about her. While writing, she relives all the good and bad moments they've spent together. Join Betty on an emotional journey of exploring the mysteries of love and herself.

Fred is your typical teenager; moody, has low-self esteem, and is really bad at math. The only thing that makes him different from the other guys is his taste in music and his sexuality. He knows what he wants right from the start, but is scared of other people thoughts and judgements, and that's why he's kept himself inside the closet ever since he realized he's not really into girls. He tried to hide it from everyone else, even to his close circle of friends, but all of his plans started going south when he meets their new neighbor, Darren, a very handsome fellow who moved to Los Angeles with his family all the way from South Korea to live at the house on the other side of the road. Fred falls for him at first-sight, and things started to escalate when he found out that they were on the same class, and things got even more deeper when Darren agreed to be his tutor in calculus. That's when he realized that his hiding needed to stop. Witness as the two of them struggle with their hardships, relationships, and responsibilities in life as they try to keep their friendship intact from a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Will they manage to keep their relationship as it is, or will it develop into something more, that even an ocean spanning miles and miles couldn't completely separate them from one another?
